Danny and I had been married a little less than one year, when we decided we would go to Myrtle Beach for a two- week vacation. checking into our motel room we unpacked the car. Lounging in our room we just kind of looked at each other like we couldn't believe we were really on vacation. Sitting around the swimming pool we had our chairs touching so we could be close to each other. An hour or so passed, we decided to go in our room. We got ready and went to dinner. After we ate, we went to the strip but it was really packed, so we came in early. For the next two weeks each morning we would get up at sunrise and walk on the beach. The sun rising over the ocean was absolutely beautiful. For an hour or so we would walk and talk then go to breakfast. This was the way our mornings went for the most part of our vacation. We would go to the beach after breakfast and stay there until lunch, fix lunch in the room, and go back to the beach and stay until around four or five. At night we would go out to eat. We ate everything from seafood to a foot long hotdog on the boardwalk. After we ate, we would go and play putt putt, ride the rides and play games. One of the days we took a scenic view in an airplane of Myrtle Beach. We also went on a party cruise that was a lot of fun. Being out on a sailboat for about four hours was awesome; jellyfish was all around us. Being out so far that we couldn't see land was really neat. I guess being young and responsible for only you made this the most relaxing vacation, I have ever been on.

Twenty-five years later, we are still very much in love, but now we have Dusty, who for the past twenty years has been our main focus when planning our vacation.
